I've Been Dreaming of a Hi-Lo Dress...

A couple weeks ago I found an adorable dress on the Forever21 website, and it was only $15!
When I got my paycheck, I went back to look for it... and it was gone... *sad faces*
Ever since then, I have been looking at high-low dresses at least once a day, trying to find one I liked for a price I could afford.
Here are some dresses that I love, starting with the lowest price, and going up from there.

I like that this dress looks classy, but unrefined at the same time.
I love the material of this dress. They have it in black too!

Maybe it's just the model, but I think this dress is so happy!

Throw a belt or a scarf into the mix, and this is fabulous!

I like how classy this one looks.
$99.00

Which one is your favorite? I'd buy them all!!!
But I'm leaning towards the Forever21 dress, even though it's not the one I initially wanted.

Musical Fanaticism and Photos (Finally)

I think I'm going to start a tradition here on my blog.
Musical Fanaticism and Photos.
Every Saturday (the day may change)
I may even turn it into a link-up, if there seems to be a lot of interest in it.

Empty Prayers- Mary J. Blige
I heard this song on Private Practice. They played it as a character was leaving rehab.
I absolutely love this song. It's very depressing. Like, tear worthy.

A Drop in the Ocean- Ron Pope
I heard this song on 90210.
I've been listening to it practically non-stop since Friday. It's perfect.
The chorus has been stuck in my head all day

The Last to Say- Atmosphere
The story in this song is heartbreaking.
I guess I just like depressing music. :P

It took me forever, but I finally got up some photos from Seattle!
Enjoy!

Colorful Fridays (Letters&Fancies)

I was just reading over at Lattes&Love (Such a cute blog!)
and she talked about how she was having trouble getting back on a good writing schedule,
so she did a couple link ups.
I'm going to thieve her idea!

Today is.....
Friday's Fancies
and
Friday's Letters

The theme for Friday's Fancies this week is color blocking. I love the bold statement that color blocking gives off, but I don't really have the guts to try it... Maybe this will inspire me!

Searching.......

Ta da!
This is what I came up with:

Some of the things I found in stores, and some were just pictures off of Google.
Top&Shoes: Charlotte Russe     Pants: Ruche

I feel like I did a pretty decent job, considering I've never tried color blocking before.
What do you think?

Quote by: My mother :)

Dear Mom, Thank you for being so loving and understanding. I honestly don't know what I would do without you. If I tried to list the number of things you've done for me in the past month alone, it would take me at least an hour. Dear Mapledell Scout Camp, I miss you so so much, and I'm very excited to come visit you tonight. Thank you for changing my life, and giving me the best summer ever (Summer 2011). Dear Precious Niece, I have a photo of you as my wallpaper on my phone, and every time I look at it, I can't help but smile. You're so perfect and happy, and adorable, and I love you. Dear David, I think I have a crush on you. Thank you for being my boyfriend even though I stress about everything, and I can be annoying and needy. Plus, I like your face. Dear New Roommate, You rock my socks. I'm so glad you're not a drama queen. Thank you for listening to my rants and raves, and making me feel better when I'm stressed about silly things. Dear Life, thank you for always being there for me. Even though you're really boring sometimes, I still love you. Please be nice to me even when I'm in school, I would really appreciate it.

I Prefer the Term "Professional Couch Sitter"

It has been almost a month since I last wrote.
I've thought about it a billion times since then, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
I could say that I was busy, or that I just didn't have any inspiration, but both would be untrue.
In all honesty, I just didn't feel like writing.
But here I am! And maybe I'll get back into writing again.
Just stinks when you start feeling like you're writing about unsubstantial things all the time.

Another sad story: I still have not edited the photos from Seattle...
I will edit at least 4 tonight to post, cause this nonsense is getting out of hand!
I do have a couple things I can write about right now, though.

Numero Uno:
David and I have been "officially" together for a month.
Yay for "month-iversaries!"
(I can take no credit for the term, that was all him.)

Taken at a blacklight partay!
Watching TV :)
My first concert!
I just noticed that I'm always on the left in our pictures. I wonder why that is.
Have any of you guys noticed a pattern like this with your's?

Numero Dos:
My niece is just getting cuter and cuter every day!
I could cuddle with her and take pictures of her chubby face all day!
She has cankles, and thunder thighs, and chubby cheeks, ugh!
It doesn't get any cuter than this!:

I am not currently interested in having my own baby, but I sure do love this one!!!

Numero Tres:
College starts in 2 months, and I am so nervous!
This will be my first semester going full-time and working full-time...

^That is my schedule for school and work.^
There's still some free time, but holy cow! I'll have time for homework and eating.
I don't know if I can do this, but I've gotta try! :)
Anyone have any tips for keeping up with everything???

I'm also working on an essay for a scholarship application, and I'm nervous about that too.
All tips are welcomed!
