David and I had a five month anniversary yesterday. It was pretty boss, to say the least.

 We spent this morning at his house watching football, eating pizza, and basically being awesome.

Random-ness for today: 

This beautiful photo is of a fill-it-in puzzle. I'm mildly obsessed with them. They're pretty easy, but they gets the gears turning, and I like that. It only takes me about 5 minutes to finish one, and it's great stress relief. I'm pretty sure everyone should try them sometime. Not to be confused with a crossword. Much better. :)

I've Been Dreaming of a Hi-Lo Dress...

A couple weeks ago I found an adorable dress on the Forever21 website, and it was only $15!

When I got my paycheck, I went back to look for it... and it was gone... *sad faces*

Ever since then, I have been looking at high-low dresses at least once a day, trying to find one I liked for a price I could afford.

Here are some dresses that I love, starting with the lowest price, and going up from there.

I like that this dress looks classy, but unrefined at the same time.

I went to Lovely Nails yesterday and got my toes done. 

I love this place! I got my toes done and my eyebrows waxed for $34!!!

I have never had my eyebrows waxed before, but I tried it yesterday, and holy cow!

I thought my eyebrows were hopeless, but now they're beautiful. I think I'm gonna start getting my legs waxed, too! (Shaving is a pain!)

I'm laying in bed right now, simultaneously writing and watching

Make it or Break it

I'm finding it kind of difficult to get comfortable. Or move. =P

While david and I were hiking today, I fell and bashed my knee on a rock. It hurts so bad!

If it's any worse tomorrow morning, I'm going to head into Urgent Care.

I'll keep you posted on my knee situation, and I'll also share my closet organizing secrets ASAP.

(After all, I need some motivation to get my laundry done. *cue sheepish grin*)

Cinco de.. AWESOME!!! ♥

When people are having a bad week/month/year, their biggest question is usually

"Why is my life so hard?"

My biggest question?

"How could my life possibly get any better?!"

This is my papa. He lives in California, but he was in town this weekend to see my brother and I. My brother just had a baby, and my dad finally got to meet his new grand baby. It was so good to see him, because I hadn't seen him since Thanksgiving. I have such good looking parents!

I bought this jumper about a year ago, and I LOVE it, but I've only had one chance to wear it since I bought it. Since today was warm, I had to pull it out!

I paired it with a white scarf, and my white flowery sandals. I actually bought those sandals and the scarf specifically to go with this outfit.

I love this outfit because it is really comfortable, and super summery. The red is really fun, too, since I have fair skin and blue eyes!

I went shopping today!!!!! (W/ David)

At the Gateway Mall. 

I bought myself these lotions from Bath and Body Works (which is probably my favorite store. I take great pride in how good I smell all the time.) My favorite is the Wild Berry Tulips.

I own close to 20 lotions from B&BW.

I also bought a new scent for my wall flower. (Carribean Escape)

I also bought some super cute stuff at Forever21 that will be featured in an outfit post ASAP.

The first store we went to was Anthropologie.

I was looking at all their cute furniture harware, and doorknobs, when I turn around and see this:

I giggled a little bit, then said "Don't move." and snapped a shot.

What a silly boy.

Awkward by Design ♥

I'm sure we all have those days when we have no motivation to "get cute."

.... Well, at least I hope I'm not the only one, cause most of my days are like that. 

Today was not one of those days.

I got home from work a little more than an hour before I was supposed to leave for David's house, and I plugged in my flat iron and pulled out the make-up bag. 

 

I already knew, before I got home, what I wanted to wear. I love this one-shouldered blouse, but it's not something I can wear every day. It's classy, and elegant, but a bit too much for work, or school.

I have very limited shoe options when I'm going to be with David, because he's actually a tiny bit shorter than me, so I went for the flat boots. I'm pretty sure these boots were one of the best investments I've ever made. They're grey, so they go with anything, they're comfy, and they're just so cute! I need to invest in more flats and flat boots. 

And sandals!!

"The Avengers" was sooooooo... good! It's always kind of awkward for other people that I go to movies with, cause I laugh really loud. And sometimes I laugh at things that no one else find funny... But hey, I'm awkward and flawed! ;) Fabulously so! 

I won't say anything abou the movie, since I'm sure a lot of you haven't seen it, but I can't promise that I'll hold out forever, so go see it!

I will be the first to admit that my job is far from glamorous...

I sit at the front desk of a corporate office, that has very little foot traffic, and do this all day:

Yes, my friends, I fold and stuff mail. All day long. It's actually quite wonderful, because the work is so monotonous that I can plug in some head phones and watch shows online.

Thai Food. Mmmm...

I have had a quite pleasant weekend so far.

Yesterday afternoon I photographed a wedding reception with my mentor, which was a lot of fun (as always.) When I went home David came over and made me dinner. It was some wonderful Thai recipe from his step-mom's cook book. 

Not gonna lie, I like a man who can cook. It was a fun night. 

This is what I wore to photograph the reception yesterday. It was classy yet comfortable.

I also go to spend some time with my niece this week. She's so damn cute! She LOVES my ceiling fan. She would stare at it for hours.

She's being blessed at my parent's house today. I should actually be on my way there right now...
