"I'm not dead yet!" ;)

Oh my God! She's alive! Who knew?
Not my followers, that's for sure. It's been at least two months since I last posted, but when I put on this outfit before work today I knew I needed to write one. I left my face out of all the outfit pictures, because it was not beautified, and no one needs to see that. :P
I got the pants and top at a 60% off sale. It was a very happy day.

Check it:

On wednesday I worked with David Terry Photography to photograph a wedding proposal!
Rachel is a fellow model here in Salt Lake City, and Todd is her boyfriend (now fiance.) They have planned on having David photograph their wedding for a long time, so Todd contacted David when he was planning to propose. David then contacted me and asked me to assist him. I started out pretending to model, until Rachel and Todd walked by. Then David asked if he could take pictures of them in front of the temple. When they stepped up to onto the pedastel, Todd proposed.
Here are some photos that David took of me before the event to test the lighting:

I was wearing my clip in extensions. My hair is only just past shoulder length, as you can see in the photos of my outfit.

The Proposal

This first photo was taken by David Terry, not me. I am using
it because I feel it is essential for the story. The rest were.

Todd also arranged for Rachels best friend and Maid of Honor to be there for the proposal, so she hopped in for some pictures.

Personals

Guys. I made a pumpkin. I'm pretty sure it is the most successfully artistic thing I've ever done in my life. It took forever. #ProudSmile
On the left you see, quite possibly, the cutest picture ever. That is my neice Lily. She is the cutest child ever, and she is crawling now. I love her. That is all.

Musical Fanaticism and Photos (Finally)

I think I'm going to start a tradition here on my blog.
Musical Fanaticism and Photos.
Every Saturday (the day may change)
I may even turn it into a link-up, if there seems to be a lot of interest in it.

Empty Prayers- Mary J. Blige
I heard this song on Private Practice. They played it as a character was leaving rehab.
I absolutely love this song. It's very depressing. Like, tear worthy.

A Drop in the Ocean- Ron Pope
I heard this song on 90210.
I've been listening to it practically non-stop since Friday. It's perfect.
The chorus has been stuck in my head all day

The Last to Say- Atmosphere
The story in this song is heartbreaking.
I guess I just like depressing music. :P

From Seattle

It took me forever, but I finally got up some photos from Seattle!
Enjoy!

Finals Week is Over! ♥

I don't know if the past week could have been more stressful than it already was. A dance final, a speech, two journals, and two analises... Yeah, psycho.
CRAZIER?
I'm already registered for 12 credit hours during fall semester. I'm taking Intermediate English, Biology 1010 w/ a lab, US Government and Politics, and a meditation class. (For my lifelong wellness credit.) As much as I hate finals week, I am looking forward to school in the fall. I figure since I plan on being in school for the next 10 years, I might as well enjoy it..
I only trained on Monday this week, cause school was crazy, and David was sick. I spent a bunch of time with him, so I'm praying I don't catch it. I'm planning on running tomorrow before I head up to Logan to stay the night at my sister's house before the race.
I brought David a couple herbal remedies today, and it was pretty funny... His family has never been into that stuff, and I'm pretty sure his dad thought I was trying to grow him a third arm... But alas, he will be feeling better in no time thanks to my "witchcraft."

Random note!!!
My Guilty Pleasure:
HULU

I am currently mildly obsessed with "Pretty Little Liars." It's something I'm slightly ashamed of, because I'm not usually into the girly-girl, drama-drama shows that are all over television.... But I LOVE it. *Crazy face grin...*

PHOTOGRAPHY
My grandparents were visiting from California this weekend. I was so happy to see them, and they were so happy to see their baby great-granddaughter!

The wedding last weekend was really fun too. I'll have to share some of those photos in my next post. They'll all have David Terry's watermark on them (Photographer David, not to be confused with the other David, they're different people.)

Also, I have all kinds of fun fashion things that I don't have time to post now, but I spent quite some time internet "window shopping" today, so I have a few new obsessions.

'Til next time,
Love, Morgan.

Don't Fight Forces, Use Them.

PHOTOGRAPHY

As I said in my last post, I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding yesterday. It was a really fun wedding, and the couple was so cute! Here's a few of my favorite shots from last night.

Guess who ran a full 5k on the treadmill on Tuesday!!! That's right, my friends, I did! I was so unbelievably stoked.
My Current 5k Time:
31 minutes 3 seconds.
Tonight, David and I are going for a run on a trail. Since my 5k next weekend is going to be outside, I need to start practicing outside. Running on grass or dirt is better for your muscles, so we're hitting up a dirt trail. I know that running outside is harder, so I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm also being a little bit naughty with my eating habits lately. It's so hard to eat healthy when I'm busy! My goal for the next couple weeks is to put together a menu (Thank God for Pinterest), and FOLLOW IT. The following is the hard part.

If I don't get outta here, I'm never gonna get on that trail, so I'm off!
Love, Morgan.
